Specialized for over thirty years in the production of technologies for the horticulture sector, the Paduan company Hortech can boast several successful transplanters in its catalogue. Below you will find a quick overview of the main applications from the Venetian company. Automatic model “Tre” - available in a version towed by tractor and the self-propelled Tre Matic (with hydrostatic four-wheel-drive) - is a machine designed for planting cubic plug seedlings; it is equipped with a conveyor system with long belts, which, thanks to a pneumatic device to separate the plugs, performs the planting directly into the ground (working with speed and precision even with long and intertwined leaves). The “Tre” transplanter is equipped with two independent frames: an internal one, where the transplant elements are mounted, and an external one, supported by four wheels. The Due Automatic also has an independent frame architecture, offered by Hortech with a roller which, in addition to transmitting the movement to the distributors, ensures a constant working depth by levelling the ground. The planting device is composed of a feed conveyor, to automatically load the seedlings, and a vertical distributor with cups which, in turn, places them in the ground. Available in towed or self-propelled versions, Due Automatic can work with cubic plug plants, already separated or to be separated, and is available with fittings for mulching (polyethylene, paper, and biodegradable). Precision in the processing, ability to adapt to any terrain, compatibility with fixed and folding frames, transplant uniformity on soils with gradients; these are the winning characteristics of the Pratica model. This is a towed machine for truncated, conical or pyramidal plug seedlings, equipped with a round-shaped loading system for single row with 6 cups. Fitted with a single-support plant holder and ridging wheels to optimize the compaction of the soil, Pratica is characterized by an hourly productivity of 3,300-3,800 seedlings per row.
