The Gandini Group in Guidizzolo near Mantua has prepared a wealth of technical content in the manufacturer’s exhibition area to present to the general public attending EIMA International the most outstanding products in the Gandini range. For openers there is the CT23/42MTS forest chipper model featuring a 4 cylinder 64 Hp diesel engine, cutting blades on the heavy drum and advanced NoStress and NoBlock feeding systems which can be operated from the tractor or autonomous motor plus a series of toothed rollers along the length of the feeding chute to improve processing. Otherwise, a feed chain can be mounted to convey to the systems significant amounts of waste wood to the plant and beyond. The compact design of the chipper means the machine can also easily operate on uneven terrain. Thanks to the machine’s system, this model can operate in depressions to make it ideal for greenhouses and the maintenance of greenery requiring the removal of pruned wood residues for processing into high quality chips. In the same sector of drum chippers Gandini is also showcasing the CT40/75 and CT50/75 built for forestry businesses in need of high yield production of excellent chips. These machines are equipped with wide loading hoppers, a new transmission system and renewed hydraulics plus latest generation technologies ensuring the highest performance in their category. Also coming up in the exhibition are chippers with autonomous engines, the diesel MTS running off a universal shaft (TTS) and the MTE electric motor model.
