Argo Tractors will be leading players with their specialist tractors at Enovitis in Campo 2016 coming up in June in the Torrevento a Corato vineyards in the province of Bari with the support of the Agro dealers in the Puglia Region. The Landini brand will be fielding the REX F, GE and GT specialists with a distinctive redesigned hood. Also coming up in the vineyards are the Trekker crawler tractors in the CF version and various models in the tried and tested Series 4. The McCormick brand is coming to Enovitis in Campo for the premiere of the X2 Series, the heirs of the GM range available in the standard configuration and the new GE lowered version. The rear axle and platform of this latter model has been redesigned to lower the platform by 95 mm below GM’s by beginning with 24” rear tires to achieve a compact size. The result is 1,420 mm minimum width and only 1,230 mm height to steering wheel. Optional for this model are 20” tires. This new GE configuration ensures improved performance in operations where height and width are limited, as in canopy vineyards and greenhouses. The range is powered by 44 Hp to 54 Hp Yanmar engines available in three models, the X2.20, X2.30 and X2.40 STD or GE. Also the Agro Valpadana brand VP3600 Series specialists will make the trip to the Puglia vineyards presenting a redesigned hood and joined by the VP7000 and the VP9000 Series of equal-wheel tractors.
