The new model in the HerbHy 30 is the Hymach remote controlled brush cutter scaled down from the HerbHy 40 but with all the features of this larger model. Among these strong points are a reversible fan, automatic hydraulic track tensioners, excellent traction with the rubber track and a flotation device for lifting the tool head actuated by hydraulics regulated with no change in oil pressure. The new model also features the characteristic tortoise hood which protects sensitive parts and prevents the accumulation of twigs and branch debris which can cause accidents and overheating for machines at work in these conditions and a roll-bar integrated into the frame for maximum resistance. The LED lighting system guarantees maximum visibility for night operations and a flashing beacon comes as standard equipment. Though there is no hydraulic expansion of the tracks, in case of need it is still possible to widen the carriage manually. With a simple operation the stability of the vehicle can be increased for the work required. The HerbHy 30 weights only 950 kg in working order and the track frame 8 rollers have a wheelbase of 1,320 mm, manually extendable up to 1,620 mm, and the treads are available in different versions for different work situations. A coupling system is integrated to four points to lift the robot.

A control console is equipped with a check panel for the operator to control machine performance from the ground in complete safety, even for the most demanding operations, and optional is distance vision for total surveillance of the area.

Forward speed is 0-7 km/h with a speed control potentiometer variable from 0 to 100% in continuous advance. The potentiometer allows the correction of feed direction (offset) while working on slopes and the display shows the control of the speed of the tracks.

The transmitter can also be connected with wire in case of emergency and an audible and visual alarm is provided for overcoming slopes, for dealing with overheating, diesel engine overheat, engine oil pressure, excess radio communications and reverse driving controls.
