The news from Forigo Roter Italia at EIMA International is the DF6 model, a folding rotary tiller designed for large tracts of land and for contractors, expanding an already extensive range. The strength of this application is the six-gear lateral transmission that allows to work with tractors beyond 400 horsepower. Compared to conventional transmissions with three or four gears, it is able to distribute loads and weights much more uniformly, thus limiting the power required from the engine. Available with working widths of 460, 500, 560, and 640 centimetres, the newcomer from Forigo Roter has a high-performance central reducer, which in turn is equipped with a device for cooling the oil, and a sturdy folding structure, which is easy to carry thanks to the 280 centimetres of maximum road width. The valuable technical characteristics of the new rotary tiller include the milling drum rotors, with a diameter of more than 600 millimetres that can mount various types of curved or 90° hoes, and the particular construction architecture of the application, whose distance between hoes and the frame is such as to allow the operator to use the DF6 in all working conditions, even the most prohibitive. A final highlight is how the rear of the new rotary tiller by Forigo Roter can be equipped with any type of accessory, thus giving the application the characteristics of a machine with both high performance and particular versatility.
