The Dondi range of agricultural machine is geared to soil preparation without plowing to reduce work time, cut fuel and maintenance costs and fully respect the environment. Leading the way in this field are the manufacturer’s combined subsoilers for working the soil to depths of 50-60 cm. These machines are equipped with digging teeth angled at 32° to 45° to ensure a perfect overtuning of the terrain and flow of the soil while limiting  tractor power required. Combined with different kinds of hydraulic rear rollers, they can level the terrain and provide the type of soil finish designated after initial fragmentation to ensure a sound drainage system and prepare conditions for a reserve of humidity in case of drought. In the segment of medium-depth work, down to 25-35 cm, are the multi-ballast cultivators combined with front disc sections and various rear finishing accessories. This kind of system is designed not only for cutting and burying residues in the soil but to completely break up the soil with the multi-ballast cultivator configured according to the requirements needed with a large number of options available.

The soil can be leveled and given an excellent finish to prepare for immediate sowing by combining these cultivators with rear accessories, disc elements or various roller models. For work to minimum depths of 8 to 15 cm Dondi presents a cultivator with independent parallel discs mounted on shock absorbers combined with rear rollers and front ballast remarkable for the speed of work and the option to move on to immediate sowing. The manufacturer also turns out strip cultivators for something called strip work. Highlighted in this segment is an inter-row machine regulated to 45 up to 75 cm which carries out work some 20-30 cm in width at the depth of 25 cm. Lamberto Pettirossi, the owner of the enterprise, said, “This is work it is advisable to do with a satellite system to return in a precise way for successive phases of sowing.” This cultivator is available with 4-6-8-12 tools on a telescopic or fixed boom which makes it possible to save work time and considerable water resources by countering quick evaporation while avoiding soil compaction.
