The winning qualities of Edmu dryers

The machines for drying forage developed by Clim Air 50 of San Giustina in Colle (Padua), company specializing for over twenty years in air conditioning systems and biomass boilers, are getting ready to play a leading role at Agritechinca. All the spotlights are on the Edmu, a complete range of modular dual-flow dryers for forage in pressed bales, with which it is possible to obtain high quality hay without mould or fermentation. Above all, the Edmu series helps to make the most of the potential offered by renewable energy (the technology solutions by Clim Air 50 allow the conversion of a system acting only on a few components), with important advantages both in terms of performance and containment of operating costs. The other distinctive feature of the Edmu dryers is the possibility of loading the pressed bales on the drying form on one side only, thereby reducing the space required for handling the product and the drying process. This was the objective of the Venetian company’s technicians when they developed a two-level model, modular and compact, in which each level delivers a double air flow for drying the product. In addition, the Clim Air 50 dryers are equipped with a housing compartment for the electrical and electronic equipment, for the burner and the hydraulic unit, whose main function is to protect these components from the elements, and with other housing modules specific for forage to protect it from being spoiled by rain or moisture.
