Versatile and efficient, the light crusher and tiller from Seppi

The manufacturer Seppi in Caldaro, near Bolzano, has invested the production of universal mulchers for land reclamation aiming for versatile machinery capable of handling various types of operations. Other than heavy duty machinery, the Multiforst, Starsoil, Supersoil and Maxisoil, Seppi has broght to the range a relatively light machine for tractors in the power categories of 100 HP to 170 Hp. The Midisoil dt is a universal stone crusher and soil tiller able to perform heavy work even with low power tractors and boost productivity thanks to the machinery’s operational functions. This model is available with work widths from 175 cm to 250 cm for tilling the soil down to depths of 25 cc, crushing rocks up to 20 cm Ø and mulching wood and stumps of up to 25 cm Ø, all at forward speed reaching 2 km/h trailed by a tractor with a PTO speed reducer, according to the manufacturer’s specifications. The innovation which distinguishes the Multisoil dt from traditional mulchers and stone crushers is that the machine can work at 1000 rpm with 1 or 2 speeds. This means that the rotor system can be changed depending on the job from about 1000 rpm for mulching wood to 540 rpm for stone crushing and soil tilling keeping the tractor PTO shaft at 1000 rpm. The operator need only use a mechanical control lever on the main transmission for a quick response for changing the rpm from 1000 rpm to 540 rpm while the tractor PTO remains at 1000 rpm.
