All’epoca curavo anche la promozione dei nostri prodotti, girando in lungo e largo l’Italia per far conoscere il nostro brand». Queste le parole con cui Lauro Morselli, attuale Ceo di Emiliana Serbatoi, ricorda i primi anni di attività dell’azienda. A fornirne l’occasione è il quarantennale dalla fondazione della ditta, che ricorre proprio in questi giorni. Emiliana Serbatoi infatti inizia a muovere i primi passi il 17 giugno 1983, riuscendo a diventare in poco tempo uno dei principali player di mercato non soltanto nel settore dei sistemi di stoccaggio, di trasporto e di distribuzione del carburante, ma anche in quello delle tecnologie per il controllo e la gestione dei rifornimenti. Alla base di tutto c’è una brillante intuizione: progettare e realizzare serbatoi interrati per i rivenditori di prodotti petroliferi, oltre a cisterne con sistema erogazione di gasolio a “caduta”. È un progetto vincente perché di lì a poco sarebbero entrati in vigore nuovi standard di sicurezza relativi allo stoccaggio dei carburanti. The inspiration is the 40th anniversary of the company's foundation, celebrated in these very days. Emiliana Serbatoi took its first steps on 17 June 1983, quickly becoming one of the leading market players not only in the field of fuel storage, transport and distribution systems, but also in fuel control and management technologies. At the root of it all is a brilliant intuition: to design and build underground tanks for retailers of petroleum products, as well as tanks with a 'gravity-fed' diesel dispensing system. It was a winning project because new safety standards for fuel storage would soon come into force. And Emiliana Serbatoi was ready, boasting in its catalogue a wide range of approved tanks, the Tank Fuel range, fully compliant with the new regulatory requirements. The second 'production leap' came in the mid-1990s with the boom in transportable tanks.
