A McCormick-agro-mechanical agreement
McCormick was at the side of the Italian Agromechanical and Farmers Confederation (CAI) at the national general meeting, held in Grosseto on May 10 and 11. This is an important rendezvous for the purpose of defining the association’s objectives for the near future, and was attended, among others, by Mario Danieli, Argo Tractors’ Country Manager for Italy. The focus of Danieli’s speech was the agreement signed last March between Cai and Agro Tractors. “We signed an agreement - said Danieli - which provides, for each tractor purchased, a bonus to be used on the purchase of original spare parts. The goal is to provide agro-mechanics with the most suitable, technologically advanced tools to best handle their work, effectively and with greater attention to safety”. Of course, the Grosseto event would not be complete without a significant presence of McCormick tractors. The role of standard-bearer was taken by the rugged X8.680 VT-Drive with yellow livery. This machine is powered by a 310 horsepower engine and stands out for its user friendly technology, power, reliability and comfort. A spotlight is also aimed at the X7.690 P6-Drive model, expression of design and comfort, with first-class performance. The X6.440 VT-Drive also sported yellow livery, designed and built with the aim of creating a range of medium-power tractors that can be fully customized. A range capable of responding in the best possible way to the different operational needs of farms. These are the winning features that earned the award for 2018 Tractor of the Year in the Best Utility category for the X6.4 VT-Drive.
