H40 S is the entry-level model of the Hurricane range of flail mowers designed by Rotomec, the company from Verona, (headquartered in Nogara) for professional use. In fact, Hurricane H40 is a horizontal-axis movable mower characterized by high standards of resistance, ideal for the maintenance of green and sloppy areas.  With a power requirement of 40 horsepower, and a cutting width of 120 centimeters, the Rotomec flail mower is appreciated for its double-joint coupling connection to the rotor, designed to prevent any possible damage both to the blades and to the rotor. The cutting height can be adjusted by acting on the rear roller fitted with a scraper. The company from Verona provides several options to manage the displacement of the machine, in fact, the operator can intervene either manually or hydraulically through a dedicated cylinder. In any case, the maximum displacement for all measures is 40 centimeters on the right.  The Hurricane H40 S model’s standard - as specified by the manufacturer - also includes an expanded rear roller.  The operator can use it in two different positions: one closer to the rotor to exploit the rotation of the blades to clean the roller during the working phase, or a more spaced one.

The Rotomec entry-level flail mower, as well as all the other models in the Hurricane range, stands out for the high peripheral speed of the blades, and for the attachment of the third oscillating point which, all together, ensure a superior cut uniformity, while the clockwise rotation of the rotor (anti-clock available on request) allows the machine to work with maximum safety.
