The Italian tractor market at its peak

22.07.2021

In the first six months of 2021 the italian tractor market scores new records. From January to June more than 12.500 units have been sold in Italy, with an increase of 52,5%  compared to the same period last year. All the Italian regions – except Liguria (-15,8%) - have a positive balance but the figures of Sicily stand out above all. In this region of Southern Italy more than 990 machines (+120%) have been sold in the six months starting from January 2021. Also Campania (+ 64% corresponding to 702 vehicles sold), Puglia (+ 56% corresponding to 1024 machines) and Lazio (+ 56% corresponding to 595 tractors) show very positive market trends. High volumes have been reached  in Emilia Romagna (1,189 units) and Lombardy (1,314 units), marking an increase of +48% and +47%. The Septmeber issue of Machinery World will release a special reportage focused on market trends for the first six months 2021 and on the midterm scenarios.
