Flood in Emilia Romagna, the support from Assopompe

The Italian association of pump manufacturers, Assopompe-Confindustria, is at the forefront of tackling the flood that hit Emilia-Romagna. From the very first days, the association activated itself through the EMP of Confindustria (Emergency Management Program), identifying the companies willing to supply large-scale dewatering pumps to be delivered to the regional Civil Protection. The Emergency Management Program, in fact, has the very purpose of quickly linking the Confindustria system with the Civil Protection to guarantee "effective solidarity", with a rational flow of goods, based on the specific needs of the territory. Aware of the importance of acting quickly to contain the consequences of the floods in Emilia Romagna, the companies in the Assopompe network have organized themselves to supply the technologies needed to manage the critical situations in the areas affected by the emergency as quickly as possible.
