Roj, cutting edge electrical systems

The managers and technicians of the Biella company Roj believe that in the coming years, the evolution of agricultural machinery will go through the gradual replacement of mechanical and hydraulic transmission with electrically powered systems. This trend is already in place and increasingly widespread, because the use of electrical technologies involves indisputable advantages from the point of view of productivity and performance as well as maintenance, facilitated by the possibility of using remote diagnostics. Faced with a growing demand, the Piedmontese company, promoter of a recent agreement for the exclusive distribution of the ISOBUS connection systems by Powell Electronics, has developed a wide range of tailored solutions, conceived for those manufacturers who want to equip their applications with electric drives, but without bearing the (often high) design costs. Roj boasts a catalogue containing a wide range of ad hoc and differentiated systems that includes devices for row seeders (PC 100), for precision pneumatics (PCS 200) and for transplanters (PCS 150), all points of pride of the Biella company. The range also includes the new PCS W1 kit for granular product hoppers, easy to install and, above all, easy to program. The machine operations are managed through a smartphone or tablet (there is a dedicated app) with which the operator can set the quantity and density of the product to be spread or monitor the working speed, the treated surface, or the position of equipment. All elements of the PCS systems are available as either “turnkey” solutions and as individual components, to be integrated into existing systems. It’s the case, for example, of the innovative servo motors with PCS MD-O and PCS MD-S integrated drive, specifically designed for agricultural applications, which enable advanced electrical movements, ensuring sturdiness and reliability. These systems are thus tailored to meet the demands of the most discerning agronomists, like all the solutions by Roj.
