A new specialized tractor arrives at Kubota. It’s called M5111 LP and it is a low profile tractor that expands the M5001 series, of which it incorporates the salient technical characteristics. Compared to the other machines in the range, the M5111 LP model is characterized by a height of less than one metre and a half at the rear fenders. This particular constructive solution, together with the lowered front axle and the Bi-Speed steering system, significantly improves the manoeuvring agility of a product line that is already popular for its ability to move around narrow spaces . The newcomer Kubota offers a turning radius of just over 3 and a half metres (3.7 to be precise), compatible with a wide range of operations. From olive groves to the orchards, from “special” crops to farms, one of the great strengths of the M5111 LP tractor is its versatility. The other is the engine - a 107 hp Kubota 4-cylinder 3.8-litre engine in line with Stage IV standards - which stands out for its dual memory function (improving driving comfort). Also on the subject of construction innovations, we should note the introduction of an 80 amp alternator (compared to the 45 amp) which makes it possible to supply even the most demanding equipment from the point of view of electricity consumption. Regarding the transmission, the Japanese manufacturer has equipped it with three ranges and six synchronized gears, including those of the super reduction gear. In total there are 18 forward and 18 reverse speeds, well proportioned according to the different speeds required by each type of field operation.
