From plows to salt spreaders, fertilizer spreaders and harrows, Faza srl (Città di Castello) attends Agritechnica 2015 with a very rich catalogue. Of note in the cultivator sector is the “Tiger”, a model for working in vineyards and orchards, which adapts to any type of space between rows. In the area of salt spreaders, the Umbrian brand launches “Fox”, a self-loading application with disk distribution controlled from the tractor’s cabin. The machine is equipped with a hydraulic jack that allows you to rotate the spreader and load the salt from the pile. Then, when the vehicle is brought into the working position, one of the hydraulic motors allows the cochlea stirrer to drop the product evenly on the spreading disc. It is a very suitable machine for wide track roads. In the fertilizer spreader segment, the spotlight is on two applications: B/Delux-Car and FS/500. The B/Delux-Car is a wheeled machine intended for professional use, equipped with a low speed agitator (for a uniform flow), a reinforced grid for filtering any lumps, and a hydraulic control to manage the anti-corrosion nylon openings from the tractor cabin. The FS/500 model is a fertilizer spreader equipped with a conical hopper made of sheet steel without welds and a sturdy steel chassis. It was designed to obtain uniform coverage with both small and large amounts of fertilizer. Upon request, there is a kit for localized fertilization, a mechanical or hydraulic remote control, and a single and double side conveyor. In addition to the Fox, Faza offers three new items in the salt spreader segment: SSA/500 Inox is a towed machine with a filtering grid, baffle, disks and fans in stainless steel, articulated agitator for salt and shaft drive. It is constructed with corrosion-resistant materials and offered with galvanized, stainless steel or PVC hoppers; with the same characteristics, Faza offers the SSP/500 model in a mounted version (available in galvanized, stainless steel and PVC); the Felix model is a self-loading salt spreader (a hydraulic jack tilts the hopper, loading the salt directly from the pile) with an operating mechanism similar to the Fox spreaders, but the Felix mechanism is free fall, after an accompanying stirrer pushes the salt to the exit. Very effective for urban centres.
