Nel 2020 c’è stata una ricorrenza … Proprio l’anno scorso è caduta la ricorrenza dei cento anni di attività. La Rinieri infatti iniziò a muovere i primi passi sul tessuto produttivo forlivese nel lontano 1920 quando il nostro fondatore, Olinto Rinieri, diede vita a una officina meccanica specializzata nella riparazione di attrezzature e macchinari di diverso tipo. Nel secondo dopoguerra l’a- zienda cambiò pelle, passando da un’attività di tipo artigianale ad una industriale, specializzandosi nel comparto delle macchine agricole. Fu all’inizio degli anni ’90 che decidemmo di entrare nel segmento delle attrezzature per vigneto e frutteto, che rappresentano una parte im- portante del nostro business. Avremmo voluto celebrare il nostro cen- tenario ma l’emergenza sanitaria ci ha costretti ad un rinvio. Speria- mo di poter vederci presto dal vivo, ad EIMA 2021, per brindare insie- me ai nostri 100 anni. Ci mancano il contatto diretto con i nostri clien- ti, le fiere, le dimostrazioni. Com’è cresciuta l’azienda in questa sua lunga storia? Attualmente progettiamo e realizziamo oltre 4.000 macchine all’anno. Macchine che vengono esportate in più di 60 Paesi, anche se il nostro business si concentra soprattutto in Europa, Stati Uniti e Australia che insieme assorbono il 75% della nostra produzione. Molto apprezzate sono le attrezzature per la lavorazione del terreno sottochioma, mac- chine che eseguono operazioni di diserbo ecologico, senza uso di pro- dotti chimici, per le quali registriamo un notevole incremento. In questo scenario l’innovazione è la chiave per essere compe- titivi … Il nostro primo brevetto risale al 1922. La Rinieri nasce dunque con una spiccata capacità di fare innovazione e che tale capacità ne con- traddistingue anche oggi il modo di fare impresa. Rinieri took its first steps in the Forlì area back in 1920 when our founder, Olinto Rinieri, set up a mechanical workshop specialising in re- pairing various types of equipment and machinery. After the Second World War, the company changed its character, moving from a craft business to an industrial one, specialising in agri- cultural machinery. It was in the early 1990s that we decided to enter the vineyard and orchard equipment segment, which is an important part of our business. We would have liked to celebrate our centenary but the health emergency forced us to postpone it. We hope to see you soon, at Eima 2021, to toast our 100 th anniversary together. We miss the direct contact with our customers, the trade exhibitions, the demonstrations. How has the company grown over its long history? We currently design and manufacture over 4,000 machines a year. These machines are exported to more than 60 countries, although our business is mainly concentrated in Europe, the United States and Australia, which together account for 75% of our production. The equipment for working the soil under trees, machines that carry out eco-friendly weeding without the use of chemical products, are very popular and we are seeing a considerable increase in these machines. In this scenario, innovation is the key to being competitive ... Our first patent dates back to 1922. We can say that Rinieri was born with a strong ability to innovate, and this ability still distinguishes its way of doing business today. This is also demonstrated by the prestigious recognition we received at the EIMA 2020/2021 Technical Innovation Award with the Easyride automatic inter-row steering system; a technology designed in synergy with the University of Bologna to increase productivity and improve the machine’s ergonomics.
