La velocità massima viene raggiunta nella variante ECO a 40 km/h a 1.700 giri/min. Da segnalare poi la funzione Smart Stop che, disinnestando automaticamente la trasmissione quando si preme il freno a pedale e reinnestandola quando viene rilasciato, agevola non soltanto la frenata e l'avviamento su pendii o incroci, ma anche le operazioni con il caricatore frontale. Altre innovazioni hanno interessato la cabina a sei montanti, ribassata e ridisegnata sia nella progettazione degli interni (c’è più spazio per la gambe) che nella configurazione dei comandi (la leva del freno è più corta). Altro plus della cabina è il sistema di filtraggio integrato nel tetto, di categoria 4 (secondo la norma EN 15695), che protegge il conducente da polveri, aerosol e vapori pericolosi. La cabina sigillata – spiega il costruttore con una nota stampa – impedisce l'ingresso di sostanze pericolose e riduce il livello di rumore. Al di là degli aggiustamenti apportati dai tecnici Claas, la nuova versione degli specializzati Nexos vede confermati i tradizionali punti di forza della serie precedente, a partire dall'assale anteriore sospeso Proactiv e dal sistema idraulico con portata standard di 87 l/min (il sollevatore idraulico è controllato da un circuito separato da 27 l/min). Confermate anche le dimensioni compatte. Le versioni S, M, L hanno larghezze pari, rispettivamente, a 1, 1,25 e 1,45 metri, mentre l’XL arriva a 1.55 metri. Le versioni specifiche per frutteto MD e LD hanno larghezze di 1,25 e 1,45 metri. The sealed cabin - explains the manufacturer in a press release - prevents the entry of hazardous substances and reduces noise levels. In addition to the adjustments made by Claas technicians, the new version of the Nexos specialist still has the traditional strong points of the previous series, starting with the Proactiv suspended front axle and the hydraulic system with a standard flow rate of 87 l/min (the hydraulic lift is controlled by a separate 27 l/min circuit). It also still features a compact size. The S, M, L versions have widths of 1, 1.25 and 1.45 metres, respectively, while the XL comes in at 1.55 metres.
