Caratteristica comune ai tre esordienti di casa FAE è la tecnologia Sonic che – spiega il costruttore con una nota tecnica – è stata progettata non soltanto per ottimizzare l’abbinamento tra l’escavatore e la trincia attraverso un sistema di calibrazione automatica, ma anche per monitorare costantemente i parametri idraulici dell’attrezzatura, offrendo un importante incremento di produttività. Incremento che l’azienda trentina valuta fino al 30%. Altro plus del sistema Sonic è la capacità di ridurre al minimo il rischio di stallo del rotore e diminuire il recovery time grazie a una rapida ripresa dei giri. Entrando nel dettaglio dei singoli modelli, la BL2/EX/VT è una trincia pensata per escavatori di medie dimensioni da 8 a 14 tonnellate, permette di triturare tronchi fino a 15 cm di diametro ed è disponibile in due larghezze di lavoro, da 100 e 124 cm. Il rotore è equipaggiato con utensili dal profilo in acciaio; questa tecnologia, denominata Bite Limiter, limita la profondità di lavoro degli utensili e riduce la richiesta di potenza ma senza impattare sulla velocità di lavoro o sulle prestazioni della macchina. Tra i plus della BL2/EX/VT, da menzionare anche il motore VT (Variable Torque) che aumenta la coppia in caso di necessità e contiene il rischio di stallo del rotore. UML/HY SONIC è una trincia per escavatore, con rotore a utensili fissi o martelli mobili. I raccordi sono posizionati in modo tale da agevolare e da rendere ancora più veloci le operazioni di aggancio e di sgancio della trincia, mentre il dispositivo di azionamento idraulico del cofano facilita l’operatore durante i lavori di bonifica. La rosa di novità proposte dalla FAE si completa con il modello UMM/EX/HP/SONIC, una macchina specificamente progettata dai tecnici dell’azienda trentina per interventi sulla vegetazione in aree boschive, per la manutenzione del verde e per tutte quelle situazioni che richiedono una grande capacità di triturazione. Le trince UMM/EX/SONIC, disponibili anche con allestimento HP, possono infatti triturare arbusti e alberi con diametro fino a 40 cm e sono compatibili con escavatori da 20 a 36 tonnellate.
