The prize, which is normally awarded during Agritechnica in Hanover, was awarded online this year following the relocation of the event. The Trion range was presented and launched for the first time in Europe in the summer of 2021 under the claim "Fits your farm", and consists of 20 models available with a wide range of optional extras and with different features depending on specific work requirements. Indeed, the machine has been designed by German engineers to suit every market, from Europe and North America to South Africa, and is aimed at family farms, but also at medium and large farms (from 200 to 1,000 hectares) with high production requirements. They are therefore flexible machines that offer high performance with crops such as wheat, rape, maize, soya or rice on hilly or flat land. In addition to their outstanding versatility, Trion models provide efficient harvesting, top manoeuvrability and driving comfort - reads a note from the German manufacturer. From the 258 Hp five-straw walker combine to the 45 Hp hybrid version with twin rotors, almost all Trion models can be equipped with Terra Trac tracks, with rubber belt feeder channel, Montana system for side slope compensation and Cemos driving assistance system. Other highlights include the new Claas GPS Pilot system with Cemis 1200 terminal for automatic steering. Il premio, normalmente conferito durante l’Agritechnica di Hannover, quest’anno è stato assegnato on-line in seguito allo spostamento della manifestazione. La gamma Trion è stata presentata e lanciata per la prima volta in Europa nell’estate del 2021 con lo claim “Fits your farm”, ed è composta da 20 modelli disponibili con una vasta gamma di optional e con caratteristiche diverse a seconda delle specifiche necessità di lavoro. Infatti la macchina è stata progettata dei tecnici tedeschi per adattarsi ad ogni mercato, da quelli europeo e nordamericano fino a quello sudafricano e si rivolge ad aziende agricole familiari, ma anche a quelle di tipo medio e grande (dai 200 fino ai 1.000 ettari) che hanno elevate richieste produttive. Si tratta dunque di macchine flessibile che offrono prestazioni elevate con colture quali grano, colza, mais, soia o riso su terreni collinari o pianeggianti. Oltre alla loro spiccata versatilità, i modelli Trion – si legge in una nota della casa tedesca – garantiscono operazioni di raccolta efficienti, manovrabilità al top e comfort di guida. Dalla mietitrebbia a cinque scuotipaglia da 258 Cv alla versione ibrida da 45 Cv con doppio rotore, quasi tutte le Trion possono essere equipaggiate con cingoli Terra Trac, con canale alimentatore a cinghie di gomma, sistema Montana per la compensazione della pendenza laterale e sistema di assistenza alla guida Cemos. Tra gli altri punti di forza, da segnalare, il nuovo sistema Claas GPS Pilot con terminale Cemis 1200 per la guida automatica.
