Nuovo è il telaio, che ora presenta un passo allungato (3 cm in più rispetto alla versione precedente) e un’innovativa geometria del braccio, posizionato più in alto per migliorare l’angolo dei cilindri di sollevamento. La soluzione adottata dal costruttore piemontese offre una maggiore capacità di sollevamento (400 chili in più, secondo l’azienda) e una maggior durata nel tempo di perni e boccole. Altri interventi hanno interessato il serbatoio dell’olio, che dalla sua posizione originaria sul fianco lungo il telaio è stato spostato sulla parte frontale della macchina, il distributore idraulico Merlo MH01, ora collocato nella parte posteriore del mezzo (prima si trovava sotto la cabina). Il distributore idraulico, come spiega lo stesso costruttore, è stato espressamente studiato con l’obiettivo di incrementare l’efficienza termica e migliorare il passaggio dell’olio. All’interno della cabina l’azienda cuneese ha previsto una nuova interfaccia utente con joystick capacitivo applicato al bracciolo; il joystick prevede anche i comandi per bloccare la rotazione della zattera e l’invio dell’olio agli ausiliari. Restando sempre sul posto guida, Merlo ha aggiornato il sistema di sicurezza con il nuovo ASCS, includendo tutte le sue funzionalità, dalla regolazione dell’area di lavoro alla velocita dell’idraulica. Further changes included the oil tank, which was moved from its original position on the side along the chassis to the front of the machine, and the Merlo MH01 hydraulic distributor, now located at the rear of the vehicle (previously, it was under the cab). As the manufacturer explains, the hydraulic distributor has been expressly designed to increase thermal efficiency and improve oil flow. Inside the cab, the Cuneo-based company has provided a new user interface with a capacitive joystick attached to the armrest; the joystick also includes controls to stop raft rotation and send oil to the auxiliaries. Still on the driver's seat, Merlo has upgraded the safety system with a new ASCS, including all of its features, from work area adjustment to hydraulic speed. It is worth mentioning that to ensure a higher level of safety, the company from San Defente has introduced a dual control for equipment release that the operator can activate only using both hands.
