Con i pick-up attaccati può scaricare un nastro a destra e uno a sinistra oppure entrambi a destra o a sinistra, mentre con i pick-up allargati può creare un’andana al centro, o da entrambi i lati, o al centro e a sinistra o al centro e a destra. Il raccogliandanatore è richiudibile per il trasporto su strada a una larghezza di 2,50. La differenza principale rispetto alla ranghinatura tradizionale è rappresentata dal sistema di raccolta: infatti l’RT 730 carica il prodotto per poi trasportarlo su un nastro andanatore, mentre i ranghinatori normali trascinano il prodotto sul campo fino all’andana. Questa differenza porta a un minor sfogliamento del fieno, minori perdite del prodotto e più qualità, infatti dopo l’essiccazione al sole, i piccoli gambi dell’erba medica, che sorreggono le foglie, diventano estremamente fragili. Infatti, con l’andanatore RT 730 il prodotto viene spostato su un nastro e non trascinato sul terreno come accade con i sistemi tradizionali. Un altro vantaggio della macchina è l’annullamento delle zone umide sotto l’andana: l’RT 730 è studiata per avere un fronte di raccolta di 6m formato da due pick up che raccolgono e sollevano completamente tutto il prodotto per poi scaricarlo lateralmente nella zona già pulita permettendo un’essicazione più rapida e uniforme. L'RT 730 è dotato di un sistema di sospensione sulle ruote posteriori: una volta chiuso (senza il bisogno di smontare nulla) rimane all’interno dei 2,50 m di larghezza, 3,40 m di altezza e non supera i 4,70 m di lunghezza. Another advantage of the machine is the elimination of wet areas under the windrow: the RT 730 is designed to have a 6 metre pick-up front formed by two pick-ups that completely pick up and lift the entire crop and then unload it laterally into the already cleaned area, allowing faster and more uniform drying. The RT 730 is equipped with a suspension system on the rear wheels: once closed (without the need to dismantle anything) it remains within the 2.50 metre width, 3.40 metre height, and does not exceed 4.70 metres in length. This allows for unrestricted travelling without normally needing a permit.
