La casa di Fondo, Trento, infatti presenta il restyling del suo veicolo cingolato radiocomandato PT-300 D:Mine e lancia sul mercato la nuova testata per lo sminamento 300/FD a flagelli mobili. Il PT-300 D:Mine è un veicolo speciale, progettato dall’azienda trentina per resistere alle sollecitazioni più estreme poiché viene utilizzato per la bonifica di terreni minati sia con ordigni antiuomo che anticarro. Testato e certificato in conformità agli standard internazionali (tra cui il CWA 15044:2009), il PT-300 D:Mine fa della versatilità un punto di forza, giacché può essere equipaggiato con testate dedicate allo sminamento ma può anche essere equipaggiato con altre attrezzature FAE – trince, frese forestali, fresaceppi o lama dozer – e quindi destinato ad atri impieghi. Con l’aggiornamento del 2022, la macchina ha visto l’introduzione di diverse innovazioni costruttive. Nuovi sono il propulsore, un Caterpillar C7.1 disponibile in due motorizzazioni da 275 Cv e 302 Cv, le pompe idrauliche (di ultima generazione) come pure le centraline e sensori (e questo ha migliorato l’elettronica). Inoltre, sono state aggiornate – sempre a livello elettronico – due funzioni già presenti nella versione precedente del cingolato: il Load Control e il Floating, che consentono all’attrezzatura di seguire in modo sempre preciso il profilo del terreno. Anche il radiocomando del nuovo PT-300 D:Mine è stato migliorato, come pure il Display da 3,5 pollici e i comandi, che ora risultano più ergonomici. I ritocchi dei progettisti di Fondo hanno interessato anche la frequenza del segnale di comunicazione, incrementata fino a 2,4GHz, per un collegamento più stabile. Insieme con la nuova versione del PT300 D:Mine, FAE ha lanciato anche un testata specifica per lo sminamento, la 300/FD, che va ad aggiungersi alla tradizionale testata per sminamento a utensili fissi 300/TD e che si presenta con un rotore a flagelli mobili in grado di bonificare i terreni dalle mine facendo brillare gli ordigni nel momento del loro impatto con i flagelli. by Editorial Staff New things are on the way for the Trentino manufacturer FAE.
