I progettisti del Gruppo CNH, hanno rivisto il design generale del trattore partendo dal cofano, ora più aggressivo e accattivante. Puma 260 CVXDrive è equipaggiato con il motore FPT NEF da 6,7 litri da 280 Cv (senza power boost) e da 302 Cv (con power boost). Tra le novità introdotte da Case IH, anche assali più grandi e robusti, su cui possono essere applicati pneumatici posteriori da 2,05 metri, che consentono una maggiore trazione trasferendo a terra la potenza del motore. Tra gli aggiornamenti più interessanti presenti sul modello Puma 260 CVXDrive, spicca la cabina più silenziosa e più grande (la stessa del modello Optum), e di conseguenza caratterizzata da una superficie vetrata più estesa. Il sedile a sospensione attiva, riscaldato e ventilato, il volante Case IH, la chiave elettronica (FOB) per l’azionamento senza chiave, il pulsante di avviamento del motore e l’impianto audio premium, migliorano il comfort dell’operatore. Il bracciolo operativo che include comandi configurabili e il terminale touchscreen AFS Pro 1200, potenziano la dotazione tecnologica della macchina. Con il nuovo schermo gli operatori possono non solo effettuare impostazioni e registrare automaticamente i dati operativi,ma anche – tramite la funzione telematica AFS Connect – trasferire i dati con immediatezza e in modo bidirezionale tra la trattrice e il portale MyCaseIH. by Emanuele Bredice Designed and built at the Case IH plant in Sankt Valentin, Austria, the new Puma 260 CVXDrive was unveiled at the latest EIMA. The designers of the CNH Group have revised the overall design of the tractor starting with the bonnet, which is now more aggressive and eye-catching. The Puma 260 CVXDrive is equipped with the 6.7 litre FPT NEF engine with 280 hp (without power boost) and 302 hp (with power boost). Among the new features introduced by Case IH are larger and stronger axles, to which 2.05 metre rear tyres can be fitted, allowing greater traction by transferring the engine power to the ground. One of the most interesting upgrades on the Puma 260 CVXDrive model is the quieter and larger cab (the same as the Optum model), and consequently a larger glass area. The heated and ventilated active suspension seat, Case IH steering wheel, electronic key (FOB) for keyless operation, engine start button and premium audio system enhance operator comfort. The operating armrest, which includes configurable controls, and the AFS Pro 1200 touchscreen terminal, enhance the machine's technological equipment. With the new screen, operators can not only change settings and automatically record operating data, but also - via the AFS Connect data transmission function - transfer data immediately and bidirectionally between the tractor and the MyCaseIH portal.
