n. 3-4/2023 11 EVENTS During the three days in Toulouse the spotlight was on agricultural robots - 30 machines were present on the stands of World FIRA, most of them powered by electric propulsion systems - that visitors were able to see in action in the event's demo area. Covering no less than 5,000 square metres, two thousand of which indoors, the area was divided into seven different operating environments. From narrow-row cultivations to winter cereals, through widerow cultivations and vineyards and orchards, each of them was organised in such a way as to put the robots' capabilities to the test with the main agricultural operations. Among the stands at World FIRA, there was also ample space for the solutions proposed by equipment manufacturers (especially those intended to equip robotic systems) and companies specialising in video cameras and software systems. Nel corso della tre giorni di Tolosa far accesi, soprattutto, sui robot agricoli – 30 le macchine presenti negli stand del World FIRA, la maggior parte delle quali alimentate da sistemi di propulsione elettrica – che i visitatori hanno potuto vedere in azione nell’area demo della kermesse. L’area, estesa su ben 5 mila metri quadrati, duemila dei quali al coperto, era suddivisa in sette diversi ambienti operativi. Dalle coltivazioni a file strette ai cereali vernini passando per le coltivazioni a file larghe e per quelle a vigneto e frutteto, ciascuno di essi era organizzato in modo tale da mettere alla prova le capacità dei robot con le principali lavorazioni del comparto agricolo. Ampio spazio, tra gli stand del World FIRA, anche per le soluzioni proposte dai costruttori di attrezzature (specie quelle destinate ad equipaggiare i sistemi robotici) e dalle aziende specializzate nella realizzazione di videocamere e di sistemi software.
