n. 2/2024 33 POLITICS Agrievolution, un’alleanza a servizio dell’agro-meccanica mondiale Agrievolution, an alliance at the service of global agro-mechanics di Patrizia Menicucci Si è riunito a Bruxelles a febbraio il Comitato Direttivo di Agrievolution, l’alleanza internazionale delle associazioni dei costruttori di macchine e attrezzature agricole di Argentina, Cina, Corea, Francia, Giappone, Iran; e ancora Regno Unito, Russia, Spagna, Turchia, Stati Uniti, più il comitato europeo del CEMA. Nel corso dell’incontro, tenutosi presso gli uffici FederUnacoma di Bruxelles e presieduta dal chairman Ignacio Ruiz e dal segretario generale dell’alleanza Charlie O'Brien, sono stati discussi diversi punti. In prima battuta è stata data vita a una task force incaricata di organizzare una riunione tecnica globale ogni anno per condividere informazioni sullo stato dell’arte a livello tecnico e normativo del settore nelle varie regioni del mondo, per evidenziare l’impatto che questi temi possono avere sulle aziende che operano al di fuori della propria nazione. Il primo incontro dovrebbe tenersi nel 2025. Il Comitato Direttivo, che nei giorni della riunione ha visitato il Parlamento Europeo, si è poi soffermato sulle attività di collaborazione da mettere in campo con il CEMA e l’istituzione Europea e ha introdotto la possibilità che all’interno dell’organizzazione sia prevista anche la figura del membro affiliato. In vista della riunione del Comitato Economico Agrievolution, in programma per il prossimo 16 aprile e che sarà aperta anche ai titolari delle varie aziende associate di ogni nazione, i partecipanti si sono confrontati su come armonizzare i contenuti dei Rapporti Paese, che periodicamente le associazioni presentano e che forniscono una panoramica dei trend di domanda e offerta di macchine e attrezzature agricole nel mondo. Si è poi parlato degli ultimi passaggi utili perché entro il 2024 l’Alleanza completi il percorso per diventare entità legale; su proposta dell’associazione statunitense AEM di un nuovo strumento per la semplificazione del reporting ESG (Environmental, Social e Governance); e infine sono state stabilite le attività da tenere in occasione della prossima EIMA International (BolognaFiere, 6/10 novembre 2024), in una conferenza stampa e un ricevimento per i dirigenti delle aziende associate per il 7 novembre. Alla riunione hanno preso parte in presenza i rappresentanti di Ansemat (E) Ignacio Ruiz (attuale presidente Agrievolution); di FederUnacoma (I), Marco Pezzini e Fabio Ricci; di AEA (UK) Ruth Bailey, di Tarkmabir (TUR) Selami Ileri, Curt Blades e Jason Malcore di AEM (USA), Toshihiko Tamura di Jamma (J), David Targy di Axema (F), e in collegamento virtuale Ekaterina Braichenko di Rosspetsmash (RUS) e Federica Tugnoli FederUnacoma (I). by Patrizia Menicucci The Steering Committee of Agrievolution, the international alliance of agricultural machinery and equipment manufacturers’ associations from Argentina, China, Korea, France, Japan, Iran, and again the United Kingdom, Russia, Spain, Turkey, the United States, plus the European CEMA Committee, met in Brussels in February. During the meeting, held at the FederUnacoma offices in Brussels and chaired by chairman Ignacio Ruiz and Secretary General of the alliance Charlie O'Brien, several points were discussed. First, a task force was set up to organise a global technical meeting each year to share information on the technical and regulatory state of the art of the sector in various regions of the world, to highlight the impact these issues can have on companies operating outside their own country. The first meeting should be held in 2025. The Steering Committee, which in the days of the meeting visited the European Parliament, then focused on the collaborative activities to be implemented with CEMA and the European institution, and introduced the possibility that within the organization the figure of the affiliate member is also provided for. In view of the meeting of the Economic Committee Agrievolution, scheduled for next April 16 and which will also be open to the owners of the various member companies of each nation, the participants discussed how to harmonise the contents of the Country Reports, which periodically the associations present and which provide an overview of the supply and demand trends of agricultural machinery and equipment in the world. The final steps were then discussed for the Alliance to complete the path to becoming a legal entity by 2024; on the proposal of the US association AEM for a new tool for simplifying ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) reporting was also discussed; and finally, the activities to be held at the next EIMA International (BolognaFiere, 6/10 November 2024) were established, at a press conference and a reception for executives of member companies for 7 November. The final statement of the meeting confirms Agrievolution's commitment "to promoting collaboration, innovation and sustainability within the agricultural machinery sector, driving positive change and progress on a global scale".
