Zootecnia come sempre grande protagonista della rassegna, con mostre e incontri tecnici promossi dall’Associazione Italiana Allevatori (AIA), l’Associazione Allevatori Umbria e Marche, la Federazione delle Associazioni Nazionali di Razza e Specie, con gli Enti Selezionatori ad essa aderenti e l’Associazione Nazionale Pastorizia. Rinnovato il protocollo tra Umbriafiere Spa e AIA, firmato nel 2022, che sancisce in maniera formale lo status di Agriumbria quale Polo nazionale delle carni. Nel corso della manifestazione presentati i risultati dell’Osservatorio Agriumbria sul consumo delle carni, che ha attestato un minor consumo di carne ma di maggiore qualità. Nel 2024 consumati 79 kg di carne pro-capite, di poco sotto rispetto all’anno precedente, con consumi in aumento per la carne bianca e maggiore consumo nel Nord Ovest del Paese e nelle aree rurali. In crescita il mercato delle alternative vegetali – che si attestano sui 490 milioni in valore – che ha registrato un aumento del 200% tra il 2023 e il 2024 degli investimenti in ricerca. Dallo studio emerge che il 23% della popolazione italiana si definisce flexitariana: meno consumo di carne senza eliminazione della stessa dalle diete. Tra le cause di questa tendenza: costi elevati, attenzione alla salute e impatto ambientale. Per il comparto agromeccanico hanno esposto ad Agriumbria, direttamente o attraverso i concessionari, tutti i grandi brand di ogni categoria merceologica. FederUnacoma è stata presente a Bastia con uno stand istituzionale a disposizione di visitatori per informazioni sul settore dell’agromeccanica e sulle attività della Federazione. Nel pomeriggio del 28 marzo si è svolta una conferenza stampa di presentazione di Agrilevante 2025 (9/12 ottobre), con la partecipazione di presidente e direttore generale FederUnacoma, Mariateresa Maschio e Simona Rapastella. A seguire incontro di presentazione anche per la manifestazione, FutaExpo, l’evento dinamico-espositivo dedicato a macchine e attrezzature per la forestazione, in programma a Barberino del Mugello (FI) dal 4 al 6 luglio, organizzata da Itabia e CNR IBE in collaborazione con FederUnacoma. Presenti il presidente di Itabia, Vito Pignatelli, e il ricercatore Raffaele Spinelli di CNR IBE. FederUnacoma ha poi collaborato con Federacma nella realizzazione e gestione dello spazio Feder…Azione che ha ospitato il Mech@griJOBS, l’iniziativa che la federazione dei rivenditori promuove da tanti anni per la formazione dei giovani in campo agromeccanico, che ha visto la partecipazione di numerosi studenti degli istituti tecnici e agrari. In occasione di Agriumbria sono stati consegnati anche i riconoscimenti dell’edizione 2025 del Premio Antonio Ricci, agronomo-giornalista, storico consulente per la comunicazione di Agriumbria, venuto a mancare nel 2016. Per la categoria stampa-divulgazione il premio è stato assegnato a Nicola Prudente “Tinto”, ideatore e conduttore del programma radiofonico Rai “Decanter”. Per la categoria tesi di laurea, il premio è andato a Paola Almonte dell’Università degli Studi di Teramo. The market for plantbased alternatives is growing - worth around EUR 490 million - and has seen a 200% increase in research investments between 2023 and 2024. The space saw participation by numerous students from various technical and agricultural institutes. The 2025 Antonio Ricci Prize awards were also presented at the event, paying homage to the agronomist-journalist, and long-time communications consultant for Agriumbria, who passed away in 2016. The prize for the press-publishing category was awarded to Nicola Prudente “Tinto”, creator and host of the Rai radio program “Decanter”. For the scholarly thesis category, the award went to Paola Almonte of the University of Teramo.
