n. 5-6/2025 49 EVENTS Savigliano fair, a place for agromechanics passata dalla cadenza annuale a quella biennale, e in questa edizione – la 41ª della sua storia – ha accolto 255 aziende su una superficie espositiva di 50 mila mq, registrando la partecipazione di 60 mila visitatori. Rispetto alla partecipazione di pubblico l’organizzazione MAG – Fondazione Ente Manifestazioni di Savigliano, in collaborazione con la Città di Savigliano – esprime soddisfazione per il risultato ottenuto, sottolineando come le condizioni meteorologiche avverse (ha piovuto per l’intera durata della manifestazione) abbiano ridotto le presenze, che si sono però confermate molto qualificate in quanto specificamente interessate all’acquisto di mezzi meccanici. Gli organizzatori hanno avuto riscontri positivi da parte degli espositori proprio per il taglio professionale della rassegna, che ha attirato operatori dall’Italia e dall’estero, svolgendo una funzione promozionale importante per il comparto agromeccanico. Il territorio che ospita la Farmer Fair è caratterizzato da una forte vocazione agricola, con coltivazioni in montagna, pianura e collina, e produzioni d’eccellenza, e vanta un importante distretto di costruttori di macchine per il comparto. Anche in occasione di MAG 2025 è stato promosso il Concorso per le novità tecniche, la cui premiazione si è tenuta il 19 febbraio in un evento dedicato. Come sempre il contest è stato articolato in premio novità tecnica e menzione tecnica: cinque le soluzioni tecnologiche vincitrici in entrambe le categorie, che sono state esposte in fiera. Menzione Tecnica per Abbà snc di Centallo (CN) – Barra idraulica per trattamento mirato dei polloni; Barale Stefano srl di Fossano (CN) – Vendemmiatrice trainata Volentieri – Pellenc 8050 e Trattrice elettrica Fendt E107V; Borio srl di Alba (CN) – Protezione vigneto e frutteto tramite stimolazione UV-C; Seppi M. spa di Mezzolombardo (TN) – Microforst Pto – Trincia forestale per trattori con 30-60 Cv. Sono stati 15 gli incontri di approfondimento svoltisi in occasione della kermesse, che hanno affrontato diverse tematiche: le varie declinazioni dell’innovazione in agromeccanica, oltre che la sostenibilità, le sfide climatiche, la sicurezza in agricoltura, la coltivazione del nocciolo, la coltivazione aeroponica, le tecnologie bio-based, quelle per la filiera del latte e l’agroforestazione. Andrea Coletti, presidente della Fondazione Ente Manifestazioni, giunto a conclusione del suo mandato, auspica che per marzo 2027 – periodo in cui si terrà la prossima MAG – le istituzioni del territorio cuneese possano adottare provvedimenti che consentano di migliorare l’area fieristica ospitante, che non risulta più idonea ad accogliere un evento oramai cresciuto, e che necessita di strutture adeguate. to be extremely well-informed and specifically interested in purchasing mechanical vehicles. Honorable Mentions were awarded to Abbà snc of Centallo (CN) - Hydraulic boom for targeted treatment of shoots; Barale Stefano srl of Fossano (CN) - Volentieri trailed grape harvester - Pellenc 8050 and Fendt E107V electric tractor; Borio srl of Alba (CN) - Vineyard and orchard protection through UV-C stimulation; Seppi M. spa of Mezzolombardo (TN) - Microforst Pto - Forestry shredder for tractors with 30-60 Hp. There were 15 in-depth meetings held during the event, which addressed various topics, including the various types of innovation in agromechanics, sustainability, climate challenges, safety in agriculture, hazelnut cultivation, aeroponic cultivation, bio-based technologies, as well as the milk supply chain and agroforestry. Andrea Coletti, president of the Fondazione Ente Manifestazioni, having reached the end of his term in office, hopes that by March 2027 – when the next MAG will be held – institutions in the Cuneo area will have seen their way to adopting measures to improve the fairground area, which is no longer suitable for hosting an event that has now grown in size and needs adequate facilities.
