Auf der von Nazione Futura, CALP und der Gruppe Osservatorio Agricoltura Locale (Beobachtungsstelle für lokale Landwirtschaft) in Mottola organisierten Konferenz zum Thema „Nachhaltige Landwirtschaft & Tierhaltung: die wichtigsten politischen Strategien und Herausforderungen zwischen Klimawandel und effektivem Ressourcenmanagement" wurde über Nachhaltigkeit gesprochen. Die Entwicklung der nationalen und apulischen Landwirtschaft und Viehwirtschaft wird von zahlreichen Variablen (siehe Inflationsdruck auf die Rohstoffe) beeinflusst, die zu einer Stagnation der Einkommen führen. Um die kritischen Aspekte des Sektors zu bewältigen - wurde im Laufe der Arbeiten betont - müssen die landwirtschaftlichen und zootechnischen Betriebe den Einsatz von Produktionsfaktoren optimieren, den Verbrauch von Ressourcen begrenzen und die Auswirkungen der menschlichen Aktivitäten auf die Umwelt reduzieren. Das von Edagricole geförderte technische Seminar zum Thema "Einkommen aus der Tierhaltung, kann man machen" und der vom CREA organisierte Worskhop über „Präzisionstierhaltung" behandelten genau diese Themen.
