During the meeting, it was explained how the adoption of technologically advanced solutions, many of which are on display at Agrilevante, can improve the production efficiency of the livestock sector and contribute to the "One Health" strategy, which combines human health, animal health, and environmental protection. “ONE Health” is also the name of the project presented at this conference by Lucia Amoni of the Health and Welfare Directorate of the Umbria Region. Animal welfare is not only an ethical imperative, but— Amoni explained—also an economic and health necessity for collective health, since there is a direct and measurable relationship between healthy animals, food safety, and consumer well-being. Nel corso dell’incontro è stato spiegato come l'adozione di soluzioni tecnologicamente avanzate, molte delle quali sono in mostra proprio ad Agrilevante, possa migliorare l'efficienza produttiva del comparto zootecnico e contribuire alla strategia "One Health" (Una sola salute), che coniuga salute umana, salute animale e tutela ambientale. “ONE Health” è anche il nome del progetto presentato proprio in occasione di questo convegno da Lucia Amoni della Direzione Salute e Welfare della Regione Umbria. Il benessere degli animali non è solo un imperativo etico, ma – ha spiegato Amoni – anche una necessità economica e sanitaria per la salute collettiva, poiché esiste una relazione diretta e misurabile tra animali sani, sicurezza dei prodotti alimentari e benessere dei consumatori. Iniziative finalizzate alla tutela degli animali negli allevamenti si registrano anche nella regione Puglia che ha previsto agevolazioni specifiche per questa particolare tipologia di interventi.
