It was October 2024 when the two Italian companies operating in the sector of components for agricultural, forestry, and greens maintenance machinery, announced their agreement to offer the market integrated Made in Italy solutions. Eurocardan, an Abruzzo-based company (headquartered in Atessa, in the province of Chieti), has specialized in the production of cardan shafts for over 40 years. BRM Gearboxes has been manufacturing transmission assemblies since 2013 and operates in the Bologna area in Valsamoggia. This fruitful collaboration has also led to the creation of a new joint brand Eurocardan&BRMGearboxes whose fundamental aim is to offer complete transmission systems, high quality standards and technological innovation. At Agritechnica, the two companies will present a selection of PTO shafts, safety devices and gearboxes, configured together as unique combinations. These configurations represent some of the most advanced solutions in the range, designed to meet different application needs and engineered to satisfy the operational requirements of various sectors. Several new features are being proposed. RA230, LDR, XPowerGuard, and the XPlus 14 cardan shaft: top of the line solutions designed for heavy-duty and high-performance agricultural machinery such as large cutting and milling machines. RA170 and Plus Homokinetic 8 cardan shaft: intended for medium-sized agricultural machinery, such as round balers, capable of providing versatility and ease of integration. PA155, LDR and Plus 10 York primary PTO shaft: a combination suitable for agricultural machinery such as mixer wagons, where reliability, the ability to handle high loads and resistance to intensive work cycles are required. Configurazioni che rappresentano alcune delle soluzioni più avanzate della gamma, studiate per rispondere a diverse esigenze applicative e progettate per soddisfare le esigenze operative dei vari settori. Diverse le novità proposte. RA230, LDR, XPowerGuard, cardano XPlus 14: soluzione top di gamma, pensata per macchine agricole pesanti e ad alte prestazioni, come fresatrici e trinciatrici forestali di grandi dimensioni. RA170 e cardano Plus Homokinetic 8: destinato a macchine agricole di medie dimensioni, come le rotopresse, è in gardo di garantire versatilità e facilità di integrazione. PA155, LDR e cardano primario Plus 10 York: combinazione adatta a macchine agricole come i carri miscelatori, dove sono richieste affidabilità, capacità di gestire carichi elevati e resistenza a cicli di lavoro intensivi. RA215 e cardano XPlus 12 York con Advanced Lube System (ALS): progettati per i produttori di attrezzature specializzate, come turbine da neve ed erpici.
