Il nuovo modello è stato progettato dai tecnici Alliance per essere applicato a sprayer e trattori specializzati che operano in colture a filari stretti, e viene proposto con un’ampia gamma di dimensioni, da 24 fino a 54 pollici. Inoltre, lo pneumatico è stato costruito con classificazione di velocità E, che consente di raggiungere i 70 km/h. Le esigenze dell’agricoltura moderna, legate ai cambiamenti climatici, richiedono sempre più spesso tempi di lavorazione ridotti al minimo e, di conseguenza, l’impiego di mezzi meccanici più grandi e potenti che esercitano una maggiore pressione sul suolo. The demands of modern agriculture, linked to climate change, increasingly require minimal working times and, consequently, the use of larger and more powerful mechanical equipment that exert greater pressure on the soil. This is why the company, which is part of the Yokohama ATG Group, has developed SLT technology, thanks to which each lug, composed of two distinct layers of rubber, continues to provide traction and stability for the entire life of the tire. In fact, as the manufacturer explains in a technical note, the top layer provides grip in the initial stages of the tire's life cycle, while the deeper layer activates when the wear of the first layer reaches 40%, ensuring the same performance as a new tire.
