L’Albania è particolarmente interessante in quanto si è posta l’obiettivo – impegnativo e sfidante – di completare i negoziati di adesione entro la fine del 2027. La Serbia poi ha stanziato un budget per il settore agricolo per farne una opportunità di investimento strategica. Con 1,26 miliardi di euro allocati al settore, questo è il primo per fondi pubblici assegnati, la maggior parte dei quali in forma di sussidi diretti. In queste iniziative di Belgrado un ruolo importante dovranno avere l’agri-tech ma anche il water management. Un segnale dell’impegno della Serbia nell’innovazione tecnologica in agricoltura è stato la presentazione ad Agritechnica di Hannover del trattore a guida autonoma AgAR, sviluppato in collaborazione con l’università serba di Nis, che è entrato fra i finalisti per il premio “Robotic Tractor of the Year”.
