The main theme of Agritechnica 2023 is Green Productivity, i.e. how important it is to increase the productivity of land with less use of agricultural inputs, while protecting the environment and nature. All this thanks to innovative technological solutions that can make the concept of "green productivity" a reality for farms. More than 120 meetings, focus groups and workshops characterise the range of agricultural and agro-mechanical topics on offer at Agritechnica. Space will also be given to the Live Team Workshop, which will include demonstration sessions on servicing agricultural machinery. Several prizes have been awarded by the organisers of the exhibition. Starting with the Innovation Award, which in this year's edition saw one gold and 17 silver medals awarded. The first went to New Holland's CR double axial rotor combine, which gives rise to a "new performance class of double axial rotor combines that operate on the longitudinal flow principle". The winners of two other contests held as part of the exhibition will be announced directly at the fair. These are the second DLG Agrifuture Concept Winner - for pioneering work in agricultural technology and visions for the future - whose winner will be chosen from a shortlist of five finalists. And also the third edition of the Systems & Components Trophy - Engineers Choice, for components and systems that recognise the inventive spirit of the supplier industry and its great importance for agricultural technology, where a winning project will be selected from 21 finalists.
