Offered in different sizes - starting from a minimum of 4.6 metres to a maximum of 8 for a power requirement of between 90 and 150 horsepower (for all models) - Deltacut Fischer features a rear axle with hydraulic pistons that allows grass cutting to be adjusted from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 40 cm (a height recommended for airport facilities as it helps limit the presence of birds of prey). The double articulated comb blades are suitable for operations on ground with branches, pruning residues and - above all - mulch as the counter-rotation of the blades ensures optimal distribution even at high working speeds. The floating attachment of the two side wings gives Deltacut a smooth and uniform ride even on uneven ground. The basic equipment of the mower offered by the South Tyrolean company (Fischer's head office is in Termeno, in the province of Bolzano) includes four trolleys with eight rear tyres, three to five cutting rotors, front and rear chain covers, side frames with hydraulic cylinders that can be tilted upwards by 90° (for road transport), and a CE9 cardan shaft with free wheel. Proposto con diverse dimensioni – si parte da un minimo di 4,6 metri per arrivare a un massimo di 8 per una richiesta di potenza compresa tra 90 e 150 cavalli (per tutti i modelli) – Deltacut Fischer si presenta con un asse posteriore a pistoni idraulici che permette di regolare il taglio dell’erba da un minimo di 4 fino ad un massimo di 40 cm (altezza indicata per le struttura aeroportuali in quanto aiuta a limitare la presenza di rapaci), mentre le doppie lame snodate a pettine sono indicate per operazioni su terreni con ramaglie, residui di potatura e – soprattutto – su pacciamatura poiché la contro-rotazione delle lame ne assicura una distribuzione ottimale anche ad elevate velocità di lavoro. L’attacco flottante delle due ali laterali conferisce a Deltacut un’andatura regolare e uniforme anche sui terreni sconnessi. L’allestimento base del tagliaerba proposto dall’azienda altoatesina (la sede della Fischer è a Termeno, in provincia di Bolzano) prevede quattro carrelli con 8 pneumatici posteriori, dai tre a cinque rotori di taglio, copri-catena anteriori e posteriori, telai laterali a cilindri idraulici ribaltabili verso l’alto di 90° (per il trasporto su strada), albero cardanico CE9 con ruota libera.
