n. 10-11/2022 37 EIMA SPECIAL Senza una piattaforma comune, ciascuna azienda produttrice svilupperebbe un linguaggio specifico, incomprensibile per i mezzi meccanici realizzati dai competitor, e questo finirebbe per penalizzare l’intero settore, che non potrebbe sfruttare pienamente i vantaggi delle tecnologie di ultima generazione. L’evento denominato Plugfest – organizzato con cadenza annuale dall’Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation (AEF), associazione indipendente fondata nel 2008 che attualmente conta otto aziende produttrici di attrezzature e tre associazioni di categoria (tra cui FederUnacoma) come core members e oltre 280 aziende associate – nasce proprio con l’obiettivo di migliorare la compatibilità dei componenti elettronici ed elettrici delle macchine agricole. La manifestazione è stata concepita per consentire agli ingegneri delle case costruttrici di testare i sistemi ISOBUS delle proprie macchine con quelli degli altri costruttori – spiega l’AEF – risolvendo eventuali problemi in fase di sviluppo delle applicazioni. Il Plugfest è, insomma, una manifestazione unica nel suo genere, poiché riunisce intorno allo stesso tavolo aziende che normalmente sono in competizione e che invece si vedono incentivate a collaborare tra loro per ottimizzare il profilo tecnologico delle loro macchine. Momento clou della manifestazione sono stati i tre giorni di prove, duranti i quali non solo sono testati 50 server (Universal Terminal e Task Controller installati nella cabina delle trattrici ISOBUS) con 70 client (sistemi elettronici di controllo di attrezzi agricoli ISOBUS), ma sono stati messi alla prova alcuni dei sistemi digitali più diffusi sulle macchine agricole (dal-l’Universal Terminal al Task Controller Basic fino al File Server). Cinque stazioni di prova – prosegue l’AEF – sono espressamente dedicate alla tecnologia ISOBUS TIM (Tractor Implement Management), che in determinate condizioni permette a un attrezzo di controllare le funzioni del trattore. In occasione dell’evento AEF sarà presentato anche il nuovo sistema HSI – High Speed ISOBUS ad alta velocità su rete ethernet BroadR reach. I cinque giorni del Plugfest hanno anticipato alcuni dei temi che saranno al centro del Salone “Digital” di EIMA International 2022. L’Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation sarà infatti presente ad EIMA 2022 con il supporto di FederUnacoma e con la collaborazione del centro di certificazione italiano AEF ISOBUS: Fondazione REI. Protagoniste indiscusse dello stand AEF ad EIMA 2022 saranno le tecnologie digitali di ultima generazione per l’agricoltura 4.0, dalla comunicazione wireless in campo all’interoperabilità tra sistemi Cloud in Agriculture fino alle problematiche di CyberSecurity. The event was conceived to allow engineers from the manufacturers to test the ISOBUS systems of their machines with those of other manufacturers - AEF explains - solving possible problems in the application development phase. The highlight of the event it was the three days of testing, during which not only will 50 servers (Universal Terminal and Task Controller installed in the cab of ISOBUS tractors) be tested with 70 clients (electronic control systems for ISOBUS agricultural implements), but some of the most widely used digital systems on agricultural machinery (from the Universal Terminal to the Task Controller Basic and the File Server) have been tested. Five test stations - AEF continues - are specifically dedicated to ISOBUS TIM (Tractor Implement Management) technology, which under certain conditions allows an implement to control tractor functions. The new HSI - High Speed ISOBUS system on the BroadR reach Ethernet network will also be presented at the AEF event. The undisputed protagonists of the AEF stand at EIMA 2022 will be the latest generation of digital technologies for Agriculture 4.0, from wireless communication in the field to interoperability between Cloud systems in Agriculture through to CyberSecurity issues.
