Le catene sono resistenti all'usura e sovradimensionate, e vengono oliate costantemente grazie a un sistema automatico di lubrificazione in continuo. I denti del rotore sono realizzati con piastre antiusura in HARDOX; sui rulli motori sono presenti cuscinetti sferici da 50 mm, mentre sui rulli liberi sono installate le speciali tenute brevettate Kuhn e formate da anelli espressamente progettati per evitare la contaminazione dei cuscinetti. L’andanatore a tappeto frontale MERGE MAXX 440 completa la gamma MERGE MAXX di Kuhn. Complementare ai modelli MERGE MAXX 760, 950 e 1090, il 440 può lavorare da solo, in combinazione con uno degli altri modelli della gamma o con un andanatore a rotore GA, ed è dotato di un tappeto largo circa 1 m che ottimizza il trasporto del foraggio e la formazione dell'andana laterale. La regolazione della tensione del tappeto è centralizzata e non richiede l'uso di attrezzi. La larghezza di 3 m del pick-up con posa dell'andana di circa 1,40 m è una soluzione che valorizza la versatilità di questa macchina. La posa può essere effettuata su 1 o 2 lati, ed è ideale per formare l'andana posteriore ed agevolare così le operazioni successive. È anche una soluzione ideale per separare andane eccessivamente grandi e facilitare così l'asciugatura del prodotto. Grazie alla posa separata, il foraggio viene distribuito su entrambi i lati ottenendo un'andana centrale posteriore di forma e densità molto omogenea, qualunque sia la macchina posteriore utilizzata. Il pick-up di piccolo diametro, con rullo Windguard, ottimizza la raccolta del prodotto, il suo sollevamento e il suo trasferimento ai tappeti. Complementing the MERGE MAXX 760, 950 and 1090 models, the 440 can work on its own, in combination with one of the other models in the range or with a GA rotor windrower, and is equipped with a conveyor belt approximately 1 m wide that optimises forage transport and side swath formation.
