n. 3-4/2026 79 NEWS Sirio and Majus, two new models from Valentini significativi aggiornamenti strutturali e funzionali, a partire dal cofano flottante regolabile, pensato per lavorare su terreni umidi e durante la stagione invernale: il cofano, abbassandosi, si autopulisce, evitando così accumuli di materiale. Inoltre, la soluzione sviluppata dall’azienda di Camposampiero (Padova) permette di modulare la finezza della lavorazione: quanto più il cofano è vicino al rotore, tanto più fine risulterà il terreno lavorato. La fresa Majus è caratterizzata da una struttura rinforzata con elementi modulari imbullonati che agevolano la manutenzione e consentono una configurazione flessibile. I cilindri idraulici sono allungati sui due bracci, le trasmissioni sono centrali ad alta resistenza, progettate per sopportare sforzi intensi e prolungati. Più in dettaglio: Majus è dotata di un attacco universale a 3 punti (Categoria 3N e 4L N) e di un attacco per le barre anteriori oscillanti. Le ancore vengono proposte con un bullone di sicurezza meccanico in trazione su trasmissione e lato folle interno. Il rotore rinforzato ha un diametro di 540 mm con flange in acciaio alto resistenziale, sei zappe per flangia e un cardano centrale fisso da 1” 3/4 Z20, al quale si affiancano cardani laterali con frizioni a dischi (fino al modello 5700) e a camme (dal modello 6200). La serie Majus è composta da sette modelli con potenze necessarie comprese fra i 200 e i 450 Cv. La larghezza varia dai 4,2 metri del modello 4200 ai 7,2 metri del modello 7200, così come si amplia al crescere dei modelli il numero di zappe che sale da 96 a 168.
