32 BIOECONOMIA una tre giorni di prove e dimostrazioni che ha visto all’opera diverse tipologie di macchine forestali di nuova generazione, tra cui gli harvester Ponsse Scorpion King con testata H7 e il forwarder Ponsse Buffalo. Gli operatori formati hanno anche avuto la possibilità di provare i macchinari messi in campo dagli organizzatori. In contemporanea e sullo stesso sito, è stato possibile osservare “live” la cippatrice industriale Pezzolato PTH 1400/1000 e vari modelli degli avveniristici portattrezzi radiocomandati della linea Energreen Robo. Queste macchine, che saranno in mostra anche al Salone EIMA Energy a Bologna dal martedì 10 a sabato 14 novembre, permettono di realizzare una gestione forestale sostenibile, nel suo vitale ruolo ambientale, sociale ed economico, attraverso la valorizzazione del legname di scarto come biomassa energetica e la corretta manutenzione del territorio. Le dimostrazioni hanno interessato anche aspetti fondamentali relativi all’adattabilità, alla selvicoltura naturalistica, alla mitigazione degli impatti ambientali, alla digitalizzazione e alla tracciabilità. Temi, questi di grande attualità e interesse, di vitale importanza per la gestione attiva dei boschi nazionali e, pertanto, non più rinviabili. Il ricorso alle soluzioni offerte dalla meccanizzazione spinta consente di affrontare questi temi in modo professionale e scientifico, senza approssimazioni né usi impropri, offrendo agli operatori la massima sicurezza e comfort. Matteo Monni The event, focused on the use of highly innovative forestry machinery in the mountainous setting of southern Italy, was held from June 5th-7th, 2026 (see the program in the box), with three days of tests and demonstrations that saw various types of new-generation forestry machinery in action, including the Ponsse Scorpion King harvester with H7 header and the Ponsse Buffalo forwarder. Trained operators also had the opportunity to try out the machinery provided by the organizers. The same event also offered the possibility to see the Pezzolato PTH 1400/1000 industrial chipper and various models of the futuristic radio-controlled tool carriers from the Energreen Robo line "live" and in action. These vehicles will also be on display at the EIMA Energy Show in Bologna from Tuesday the 10th to Saturday the 14th of November. They enable sustainable forest management, in its vital environmental, social and economic role, promoting the use of waste wood as energy biomass and proper land maintenance. The demonstrations also covered key aspects of adaptability to naturalistic forestry, mitigation of environmental impacts, digitalization, and traceability. These are highly topical and interesting issues, of vital importance for the active management of national forests which can no longer be put off. Using advanced mechanization solutions allows us to address these issues professionally and scientifically, without approximations or improper use, as well as offering operators the utmost in safety and comfort.
