l mercato mondiale delle macchine agricole rallenta la
sua corsa, e nell’anno 2014 registra un calo per le trat-
trici pari al 3,2%, in ragione di 2,1milioni di unità ven-
dute. Il mercato indiano, primo al mondo per unità ven-
dute, si ferma a quota 593mila, con un calo del 4,2% ri-
spetto al 2013, mentre il mercato cinese si ferma sugli
stessi livelli del 2013 (525milamacchine).
In calo sensibile risultano il Brasile (-15%) e la Federazio-
ne Russa (-7%), mentre l’Europa comunitaria chiude il
2014 con un passivo dell’8%. Anche nei primi sei mesi
del 2015 le vendite globali di trattrici, di potenza supe-
riore a 30 Cv, sono scese del 3% rispetto allo stesso se-
mestre dell’anno precedente, secondo Agrievolution.
La contrazione del mercato, che gli analisti attribuiscono
aduna generalizzata riduzionedei redditi agricoli cheavreb-
be scoraggiato gli investimenti, ha prodotto effetti negati-
vi sulle esportazioni di macchine agricole italiane. Parti-
colare influenza ha avuto sul bilancio nazionale l’anda-
mento delle vendite di trattrici in Francia (-22%), Pae-
se che rappresenta il primomercato in assoluto per le in-

while theEuropeancommunitycloses2014witha fall of8%.Also in the
first sixmonths of 2015 global sales of tractors of greater than30Hp
declinedby3% compared to the samehalf-year f theprevious year,ac-
cording toAgrievolution.
The contraction of themarket,whichanalysts attribute toa general re-
duction in farm incomes thatdiscouraged investment,hasproducedneg-
ative effects on the exports of Italian agricultural machinery.The sales
performanceof tractors inFrance (-22%),acountry that is theabsolute
firstmarket for Italian industries in the sector,hadadeepeffect on the
national results. In2014 Italianexportsof tractors fell by17% inFrance,
aswell as25% in theUSand5% inPoland, so that the total number of
machinesexportedstoodat 53,000.
In termsof value,exportsof Italian tractors in2014decreasedby8.2%
(1billion416million),a figure thatwaspartiallyoffsetby the increase in
incomplete tractors and spare parts, aswell as other agricultural ma-
chinery, which show increases respectively of 5.2% (

ros) and3.4% (3billioneuros).The total exportsof agriculturalmachin-
eryamounted to4billion978millioneuros,which inpercentage terms
confirms last year’s result (+0.02).The forecast for thecurrent year isnot
positive, also considering the exports data for the first fivemonths of
2015,whichaccording to ISTAT indicateadrop in valueof 3.7%overall
(-9.5% for tractors).The reduction of exports is reflected in the produc-
tion, which for tractorswill fall by4.2% in total.
