he registration tractors has been in sharp decline
these past years while the sales of used machines
have greatly expanded. This was the finding of a sur-
vey conducted by the FederUnacoma Studies and Statistics
Office which analyzed sales of used tractors with transfers
of titles registered by the Ministry of Transport.
These results were made public by FederUnacoma, the Ital-
ian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation, at the
federation’s national assembly held on 22nd june in Varig-
nana in the Bologna Province. In 2016, sales of new trac-
tors came to 18,341 units while 27,946 used units were
sold off to confirm that there are farming enterprises in
need of a more powerful machinery inventory but lack the
financial resources to the acquisition of new machinery. The
survey is still under study going back year by year to de-
termine the volume of sales for an historic picture of used
machinery sales to compare to the trend of new tractor
sales and identify the ages of the large number of used trac-
tor sold.

Un’indagine realizzata da FederUnacoma rivela
come il volume di vendite delle macchine
d’occasione sia maggiore rispetto a quello
delle macchine nuove. Nel 2016, a fronte di
18.341 trattrici nuove, il mercato nazionale ha
assorbito 27.946 trattrici usate, aventi un’età
media di poco inferiore ai vent’anni.
Nettamente prevalente il mercato dell’usato
nei segmenti di bassa potenza, mentre per le
categorie superiori ai 75 kW gli agricoltori
preferiscono mezzi di nuova produzione
