Agricultural production, Europe holds back. France hits the top

Agricultural production falls in the European Union which closes 2022 with a volume decrease of 3%. The data released by ISTAT show a marked decrease for Hungary, Romania and Spain while they show a slight growth for Greece, Denmark and France, which is confirmed at the top in Europe for the value of production (96.6 billion euros, +17.2% compared to 2021), followed by Germany (74.4 billion euros), Italy (72. 4 billion euros) and Spain (63.8 billion euros). It is still France that leads the EU also in terms of added value (43.5 billion euros), overtaking Italy (38.4 billion euros) which has maintained the leadership continuously from 2013 to 2020.
