dello Talpa, un interratore semovente amarchio Unigreen, progettato
per distribuire il nutrientenel periododimaggiore recettivitàdellepian-
te, ossiaquandoesse superano i 50 centimetri di altezza. Infatti, gra-
zie alla sua ampia luce libera dal suolo e alle 6 ruotemotrici, l’inter-
ratore – un “gigante” di 9,5metri di lunghezza,2,5di larghezzae4di
altezza conunamassadi ben26 tonn. apieno carico – lavoranel pie-

aschio Gaspardo is taking the occasion of the Bologna ex-
position for a world preview of a number of the group’s new
products.
In detail, the Talpa (Mole) is a self-propelled digestate burier built for
the purpose of taking advantage of biomass plants for the generation
of energy as well as for the use of livestock digestate for fertilization
purposes in place of traditional products. Maschio Gaspardo explai-
ned, “Therehavealwaysbeenobstacles tousing the valueof digestate
for agronomic purposes by what was the decidedly complicated ma-
nagement of the product and by the fact that it needed intervals of re-
duced applications.” The note issued by the group said, “For this rea-
sonwe have created an innovativemachine capable of exploiting this
material for the distribution of nutrients over the periods when the
plants aremost receiptive during themaize growth process.” The Tal-
pa self-propelled burier carrying theUnigreen brand name is designed
for the distribution of the nutrients in a time windowwithin which the
product ismost beneficial for thedevelopment ofmaize, that is,when
the stalks reach the height of 50 cm. With ample ground clearance,
the giant 6WD burier – 9.5m long, 2.5mwide and4m highweighing
asmuchas26 tonwitha full load –workswith full respect on the crop
by preserving the integrity of theplants. Themanufacturer said that in
spite of the great size of the unit the self-propelled machine is agile
with an internal turning radius of slightly more than 4mwith specific
pressureof only 2.8km/cm² for the6wheels to reduce compaction to
aminimum.
