Eima International 2014 la Matermacc di San Vito a Tagliamento
(Pordenone) presenta in anteprima un “tris di novità”. Si parte con
le seminatrici a file binate Twin Row, strumenti di lavoro polivalen-
ti in grado di trovare un vasto campo di utilizzo e quindi di ridurre sensibil-
mente i costi di ammortamento a carico dell'azienda. I modelli Twin Row
infatti consentono di seminare il mais, la soia, il sorgo ed il colza con la
medesima interfila, senza la necessità di cambiare né la carreggiata del
trattorené l'applicazione. Suquesta linea l'impresa friulanahaprevistodi-
versi tipi di configurazioni, che partono dalla4x2 file per arrivare alla12x2
file passando per la nuova 8x2 file a telaio pieghevole idraulico con in-
gombro stradale pari a 3mt. In grande evidenza è soprattutto il modello
MS8250TWIN, vincitoredi unasegnalazioneal concorso “NovitàTecnica”.
LaMSD 2.0, invece, è una seminatrice pneumatica a righe, per coltivazio-
ni vernine, che conserva i punti di forza della sua progenitrice (laMSD)ma
ne migliora potenzialità e prestazioni. La seminatrice MSD 2.0 è disponi-
bile con larghezze di lavoro da 3 a 6mt e si caratterizza per la possibilità
di essere configurata conassolcatori a falcione,adiscosingoloeadoppio
disco; questeultimedue versioni possonoesseredotatedi un ruotinopre-
misolco che regola la profondità di semina grazie al manovellismo artico-
lato, al quale è fissato lo stesso ruotino, che determina con precisione la
profondità di lavoro dell’assolcatore. Rinnovati anche il design della tra-
moggia (ora è più capiente: fino a 1600 litri) e degli assolcatori, sui quali
si può regolare singolarmente il carico dell’elemento. La terza debuttante
è laseminatriceMS-PT,pensatadai tecniciMatermaccper ridurredi un ter-
zo la richiesta di potenza alla trattrice e garantire quindi all'utilizzatore un
risparmio economico considerevole. Attualmente è disponibile la versione
a telaio fisso destinata ai mercati europei e non a quello italiano per via
delle dimensioni d’ingombro su strada. Matermacc ha comunque in dirit-
tura d’arrivo unmodello con telaio a ripiegamento idraulico frontale, com-
patibile con le norme del codice stradale italiano.

sentinga trioof newproductsat Eima International 2014.They
start with Twin Row seed drills, multi-purpose tools capable of
awide rangeof uses, thusconsiderably reducing the time required toamor-
tise the cost of purchase. TwinRowmachines can be used to sowmaize,
soy, sorghum and rape with the same row spacing, without having to
change either the tractor tread setting or the application setting. In this
range the company from Friuli has envisaged various different configura-
tions, from the 4x2 row all the way up to the 12x2 row, via the new 8x2
row seed drill with hydraulic folding frame and an on-road width of 3m.
Particularly worthy of note is theMS 8250 TWIN, which received amen-
tion in the "Technical Novelties" competition. TheMSD 2.0, on the other
hand, is a pneumatic seed drill for winter crops, which retains the strong
points of its predecessor (the MSD) but with improved abilities and per-
formance. TheMSD2.0 seeddrill is availablewithworkingwidths of from
3 to 6metres and features the ability to be fitted with a Suffolk coulter
unit,a singlediskunit or adoublediskunit; the latter two versions canbe
fittedwith a depth control device to regulate the sowing depth, thanks to
the jointedmechanism towhich the disk itself is fixed, which determines
the working depth of the coulter unit precisely. The design of the hopper
has also beenmodified (it is now even larger: up to 1600 litres) as has
that of the planting units, onwhich it is now possible to adjust loading in-
dividually. The thirdnewproduct is theMS-PT seeddrill,designedbyMater-
macc's technical staff to reduce the amount of power required from the
tractor by one third, thus giving a considerable economic saving for the
user. It is currently available in the fixed frame version, destined for Euro-
peanmarkets and not for the Italianmarket, due to its working dimen-
sionswhen on the road. However,Matermacc is in the process of prepar-
ing anothermodel with a hydraulic folding front frame, in linewith the re-
quirements of the Italian highway code.
