With a total of 250,265 units registered, in 2023 sales of tractors in the United States fell marking a deficit of 8.2% compared to 2022. However, the North American agricultural machinery manufacturers' association - AEM, highlights a contrasting trend. In fact, while vehicles under 40 HP, the most purchased power range in the USA, recorded a loss of 10.7%, those over 100 HP recorded a growth of 5.2%. Registrations are growing, albeit slightly (+1.7%), also for combine harvesters which, with 7,369 units sold, are gaining ground compared to the previous year. «The increase in sales of combine harvesters and open field tractors – declared Curt Blades, senior vice president of AEM – is a positive factor, which makes us optimistic for long-term market growth».
