Alessandro Malavolti, president and CEO of AMA Spa—a company based in San Martino in Rio (Reggio Emilia) specialized in the design and manufacture of components for agricultural and earth-moving machinery and landscaping equipment—has been nominated by the General Council of Confindustria Reggio Emilia as president-elected for the 2026–2030 term. The designation will be ratified during the first week of July at the 2026 General Assembly.
Malavolti, who has extensive experience within the Reggio Emilia-based association, has held various positions, both at the local level—as a member of the Executive Committee (2007–2011), the Board of Directors (2011–2013), and the current General Council—and at the regional level, where he currently serves as the delegate for internationalization for Confindustria Emilia-Romagna.
The incoming president of the Confindustria association has also held positions of significant importance within FederUnacoma, rising from council member to vice president before becoming president in 2017—a role Malavolti held until 2023. On the international stage, Malavolti has served as vice president of CEMA—the European Committee of Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers—since 2022 and is the current president of Agrievolution, an organization composed of national associations of agricultural machinery manufacturers.
