Tractors, Fendt e107 V Vario wins the "sustainability" award

A full electric specialized tractor wins the "sustainability" award assigned by the international jury of Tractor of the Year at Agritechnica. The winner in this category is the Fendt e107 V Vario, a 60 horsepower machine equipped with a 100 kWh battery. The battery ensures an autonomy comprised in a range between 4 and 7 hours, when operating with partial load applications such as pruning, cutting grass or cleaning of the roadway. Battery charging times are quite competitive: a complete cycle takes around 5 hours. The compact dimensions of the Fendt e107 V Vario are those typical of traditional machines for vineyards and orchards, while the four-pillar cab (without exhaust pipe) offers an even wider view of the work area.
