Tractors, sales slow down in Canada

The Canadian tractor market slows down and closes 2023 with 27,823 machines registered, marking -10.7% compared to 2022. According to data released by AEM, the North American association of agricultural machinery manufacturers, in the country of the maple leaf combine harvesters bucked the trend, closing the year with 2,079 units registered (5.5%). In particular, according to the AEM report, 4WD agricultural tractors (four-wheel drive) significantly increase sales (+44.4%), albeit with a low market share (3.9%). Last year registered an increase for the sales of vehicles with more than 100 HP (+1.6%), whilst all other tractor ranges recorded steep drops.
