part of EIMA International. Declining number of
farms, growing recourse to the services of
agromechanical businesses

sul contoterzismo”, organizzata da Edagricole nell’ambi-
to dell’EIMA, nel corso della quale è stato affrontato an-
che il problema dell’esclusione dei contoterzisti dai fi-
nanziamenti della Pac.
Dal 1982 a oggi l’abbandono dell’agricoltura ha riguar-
dato soprattutto le aree di montagna, con un -60% di azien-
de e -34% di Sat, a seguire la collina con -47% di impre-
se e -23% di Sat, infine la pianura con -42% e -11%. In Ita-

ta la prima edizione del premio “Il contoterzista dell’anno”. Sei le azien-
de premiate, una per ciascuna delle categorie previste nel concorso
InnovazioniTecnologiche, Pre-
cision farming, Donne, Diver-
sificazione, Giovani e Filiera
agroalimentare. Sono queste
le sei categorie di merito pre-
viste per la prima edizione del
premio Il Contoterzista del-
l’anno, organizzato dalla rivi-
sta Il Contoterzista e celebra-
tosi ad EIMA International in
occasione della presentazio-
ne del terzo rapporto sullo svi-
luppo del contoterzismo. Le
sei aziende vincitrici sono sta-
te selezionate da una giuria
composta da membri del di-
rettivo delle associazioni Uni-
ma e Confai, ma anche da
una parte del comitato tecni-
co e della redazione del
“Contoterzista”; il criterio usato dai giurati è stato quello di valorizzare la realtà im-
prenditoriale che più si è distinta in ciascuna delle categorie di appartenenza. Il ri-
conoscimento per le Innovazioni Tecnologiche è andato all’azienda Agromeccani-
ca Negroni Srl, che ha saputo affermarsi sul mercato puntando su digestato e bio-
gas. La ditta Agro T. e C. Snc si è invece imposta nella categoria Precision Farming,
per il forte impegno nell’agricoltura di precisione, reso possibile da attrezzature di
ultima generazione, dotate di sistemi di guida satellitare e mappatura dei terreni
per il controllo della distribuzione dei prodotti e delle rese alla raccolta. Rossella
Guizzardi della Meccanica Guizzardi Snc si è poi imposta nella categoria “Donne”
per la sua capacità, all’interno dell’impresa, di fare sistema con il territorio e con i
clienti, mentre all’azienda contoterzista Speziali Antenore è stato assegnato il rico-
noscimento dedicato al tema della Diversificazione, per essere stata in grado di
rafforzare la propria competitività grazie a una strategia di differenziazione pro-
duttiva. Per il settore Giovani è stato premiato Carlo Feletto, dell’omonima società
trevigiana che, specializzata nella trinciatura, ha poi ampliato la propria offerta ai
servizi in conto terzi per il vigneto. Il premio “Filiera Agroalimentare” è andato al-
la Petrini Snc, azienda marchigiana che ha saputo superare la crisi della bietola al-
largando il proprio business alla gestione delle aziende agricole e soprattutto ai
contratti di filiera, tra cui quello con la Barilla relativo al conferimento di grano con
ridotto apporto proteico.

of the “The subcontractor of the year” was held. Six companies were

chain. These are the six ca-
tegories of merit for the fir-
st edition of the Subcon-
tractor of the year award,
organized by The Subcon-
tractor magazine and held
at EIMA International on
the occasion of the presen-
tation of the third report on
the development of sub-
contracting.The six winning
companies were selected by
a jury composed of mem-
bers of the Unova and Con-
fai association manage-
ment, as well as a part of
the technical committee and editorial team of the “Subcontractor”; the criteria
used by the jurors was to recognize the company that stood out the most in ea-
ch of the categories. The award for Technological Innovations went to the com-
pany Agromeccanica Negroni Srl, which has been able to establish itself on the
market by focusing on biogas and digestate. The company Agro T. and C. Snc se-
cured the award in the Precision Farming category for its strong commitment in
precision, made possible by latest-generation equipment, equipped with satellite
guidance and soil mapping systems to control product distribution and yields at
harvest. Rossella Guizzardi of Meccanica Guizzardi Snc won in the category “Wo-
men” for her ability, within the company, to create a system with the territory and
with customers, while the subcontracting company Speziali Antenore was awar-
ded the recognition dedicated to the topic of diversification for having been able
to strengthen its competitiveness with a product differentiation strategy. In the
Young people category, the award went to Carlo Feletto, of the Treviso company
by the same name, specialized in shredding, which has now expanded its offe-
rings to vineyard services for third parties. The “Agri-food chain” award went to
Petrini Snc, a Marche-based company that has managed to overcome the beet
crisis by expanding its business to include farm management and especially sup-
ply chain contracts, including one with Barilla related to supplying wheat with a
reduced protein contect.
