che usano i servizi del contoterzismo sono 540 mila
(33%), per un totale di oltre 4 milioni di ore lavorate l’an-
no. L’affido completo è più sviluppato al sud, quello par-
ziale al centro-nord. L’Italia ha ancora aziende agricole
troppo piccole per dimensioni (la media è 7 ettari), ma ci
sono zone come l’Emilia-Romagna dove la media sta rag-
giungendo i 20 ettari e negli ultimi tempi stanno crescendo
quelle superiori a 30, considerato un elemento che può
favorire migliori economie di scala. Per dare ossigeno al
settore si possono sfruttare le opportunità del piano In-
dustria 4.0, che offre strumenti molto flessibili a chi vuo-
le investire in nuove tecnologie. Nel corso dell’incontro il
responsabile delle politiche comunitarie di FederUnaco-
ma Marco Pezzini ha ribadito come la meccanizzazione
agricola debba essere considerata parte integrante del
sistema agricolo e non come qualcosa di estraneo e in-
dipendente. Altre opportunità per lo sviluppo del conto-
terzismo possono arrivare dal piano triennale del Cipe,
pensato per evitare lo spopolamento delle aree interne
dell’Italia, dove negli ultimi trent’anni si è perso il 47%
della suinicoltura, il 43% della cerealicoltura e il 48% del-
l’allevamento dei bovini da latte. In queste aree oggi si
lavorano 650 mila ore l’anno in contoterzi, il 16% del to-
tale del comparto.

coma Marco Pezzini reiterated that agricultural mecha-
nization is to be considered an integral part of the agri-
cultural system, and not as something alien and indepen-
dent.
Other opportunities for the development of subcontracting
can come from the three-year plan of the CIPE, designed
to prevent the depopulation of inland areas of Italy, where
the last thirty years have seen the loss of 47% of pig farm-
ing, 43% of cereal production and 48% of dairy cattle
breeding.
In these areas subcontractors now work 650,000 hours a
year, 16% of the total for the sector.
